7/ Text to Text to Image to Image

In the digital age, one text can be easily linked to one another. This way, images can easily be interlocked with one another images. The link is sometimes tight and close, but at the same time, it is loose and less related. Words or images are triggers for expansive ideation. It seemed that a wonderful visual image could be extracted from a single text by using coincidence disguised as an inevitability created by that randomness. Therefore, I decided to start with the text first, making the final result with visual posters.

The final visual was intended to express a ‘feeling' that is intuitively ‘felt’ rather than ‘understood’ by our logical thinking via text or explanation. Through this process, I had one more step of attempt trying a visual challenge.

Ultimately, I wanted to develop a visual process that generates images or patterns. First of all, when a certain word is given, there is a process of collecting the associated words by asking an unspecified number of people for the word. After that, there is a process that randomly determines some of the words and lists the images obtained when the word is googled. In fact, the process after that seems to be more important.  The programming of randomly resizing and recombining the images seems to be the next task.
